Chongqing Landai Industry Co., Ltd.

Established in 1996, Chongqing Landai Industry Co., Ltd. is a privately held transmission manufacturing company located in Bishan Town, less than 1 hours drive from the centre of Chongqing. Today, Landai employs over 1400 people and has facilities covering a total area of 73,000sqm, with 45,000sqm dedicated factory premises. Landai’s sales revenue in 2008 was in excess of 500 million RMB. Landai currently manufacture over 200,000 sets of components for manual transmissions and also manufacture components in volume for a domestic 4-speed automatic transmission. Landai has an excellent network of OEM clients within China and also export products to Korea and Iran.

In 2010 Landai are expanding and relocating to a much larger 270,000sqm facility with over 160,000sqm of manufacturing and assembly facilities. Landai’s target is to be the leading independent transmission supplier in China, increasing their manufacturing and sales volumes to 1,000,000 sets of transmission components and fully assembled manual and automatic transmissions within the next 5 years.

Hofer Powertrain

The Hofer Group was established in 1980 in Germany as an engineering company and today employs more than 400 employees.

The development and industrialization of systems within the powertrain, coupled with measurement, testing, and production techniques, form Hofer´s core competence. Hofer design and develop hydraulic control modules for all types of transmission, conduct virtual and hardware testing, and provide technical support through series production and SOP.
