  • Antonov Ceases Cooperation with Geely

    The Board of Antonov announces that Antonov plc will not go ahead with its cooperation with Geely. Geely has not fulfilled its financial and other obligations agreed upon in the contract despite repeated assurances that these issues would be resolved. The initial production licence lapsed in September 2007.

    Antonov plc is pleased to provide an update on progress with its pilot project with Loncin to set up a Chinese manufacturing base for its six speed automatic transmission. Good progress has been made and the programme is moving onto the next stage.

    Antonov plc has announced its sponsorship of A1 Team Netherlands. The vehicle automatic transmission specialist enters the sport as a brand new sponsor on the eve of the third A1 GP 'World Cup of Motorsport' season. Antonov's corporate identity will be prominently displayed on the nose cone section of the A1 GP racecar.

  • Second Chinese Programme Secured by Antonov

    The Board of Antonov plc is pleased to announced that it has reached agreement to work with Chongqing Loncin General Purpose Engine Co., Ltd (a subsiduary of Loncon Holdings Co., Ltd "Loncin", on a Pilot Project to explore future options for the development, manufacturing and marketing of a small six speed automatic transmission. Loncin is a leading Chinese manufacturer of high specification motorcycles, small engines and a range of automotive components.
