Engineering Project Award
Antonov is pleased to announce that the Company, in partnership with Jaguar, a major UK car manufacturer and MIRA, has been awarded a high profile project by the UK Government’s Technology Strategy Board to develop a high efficiency 2-speed transmission suitable for use in electric vehicles.

Joint Venture Established
Antonov is pleased to announce that the incorporation of the joint venture company (JV) in China, in connection with the joint venture with Chonqing Landai Industry Co., Ltd (“Landai”) for the production of the Antonov TX6 automatic transmission, has been completed and a certificate of incorporation for the JV has been issued by the Chinese Authorities.

Unaudited Interim Results for the six months ended 30th June 2009
Jos Haag, Antonov’s Chairman and CEO, commented: “Following our strategic review and reorganisation in January this year we have achieved significant commercial and technical progress in the first six months, securing a joint venture partner and committed funding to bring the TX6 to production in China. We have further strengthened our core capabilities in the UK and increased our presence in Chong Qing with new offices and recruitment of technical personnel. Our energies are firmly directed to deliver the engineering programme on time. ”

Antonov signs Joint Venture agreement with Landai
The Company is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of negotiations to secure a partner for its manufacturing joint venture (“JV”) in China with the signing of an agreement to form a Joint Venture with Chong Qing Landai Industries Co., Ltd (“Landai”).

China trading update
Following the previous announcements by the Company regarding possible formation of a manufacturing joint venture in China relating to the TX6 (“JV”), the Company is pleased to announce it has signed a cooperation agreement with Chong Qing Landai Industries Co., Ltd (“Landai”) and Lifan Industry (Group) Co., Ltd (“Lifan”).
