CONTROLS, ELECTRONICS & CALIBRATION
Antonov offers proven capability to develop algorithms, electronic systems and calibrate controllers for automated transmissions from concept to production. We develop solutions using a knowledge based systems approach with considerable application of accelerated process development using bespoke CAE toolsets. Our team has experience of all types of automated transmission control in passenger cars, commercial vehicles and motorsport.
TRANSMISSION APPLICATION AND CONTROL DEVELOPMENT
Complete TCU algorithm development for automated and dual clutch transmissions including clutch, shift actuator control and shift strategy. We employ various industry standard toolsets.
Software : dSpace / Mathworks Real time workshop
TRANSMISSION ELECTRONICS
TCU application development from concept demonstrator through to volume production including production controller test, DVP/FMEA, test rig system software development (using National Instruments Labview) and rapid prototyping / HiL testing.
Software : NI Labview
TRANSMISSION CALIBRATION
Accelerated calibration development using focused simulation/analysis toolset with Mathworks products. Automated simulation based process for shift points. Gear shift quality development using industry standard calibration tools. Objective gear shift quality measurement and subjective assessment.
Software: Vector Canape / ETAS Inca
TRANSMISSION CALIBRATION TOOLSET
Our simulation driven approach allows focused engineering effort to be applied throughout the development process reducing programme risk, resource and cost. Using our drive cycle fuel economy and emissions prediction toolset, allows the user to develop the shift point calibration to achieve optimum fuel economy. We also evaluate the effect of transmission efficiency improvement and quantify impact on vehicle performance and driveability and the potential benefits of recent fuel consumption reducing technologies such as the simulation of stop start systems.
Software : Mathworks Matlab / Simulink
